Not only can you upload and download files for free, you can even view any file that's upload with Ziddu online. I have a cable connection, and it doesn't take long for the files to upload individually. It depends, of course, on how large the file is. I still haven't been able to figure out how to upload multiple files at once, although the site says you can. I'm not sure if it has to do with the fact that I'm using Firefox and not IE.
One thing that's kind of annoying is you get emails every time you've uploaded a file to Ziddu. I haven't seen a way yet to fix this in the My Accounts section or anywhere else...maybe an upgrade to come.

Create Photo, Audio and Video albums of your choice and as many as you want. Use them any time you want and as you want or share them with your friends.
Users can always Embed the total Album or any particular file in their Blogs or websites, as Ziddu gives you an Embed code for the files uploaded.

Each time you share a file with someone, you get paid $0.001 cents. Once you've reached 10,000 downloads - or $10 - you can request a cash out. Now of course you can imagine it will take a while to get to $10. But if some of your friends and family sign up and start sharing files, you get a percentage of what they do.

I've used sites like ziddu before and made close to nothing. This all changed when I found sharecash.
You will get $0.30-$0.60 for every file which is downloaded by others. That are $300-$600 for 1000 US downloads!
